OPEN DOOR

Doors: Have you ever noticed that most doors only open when you pull them towards you? However this doesn’t mean that every door opens this way. Some doors slide open automatically when you get near them. Other doors, like garage doors, have to be pulled up. There is danger in assuming that every door will open in the one and only way you are accustomed to. Before you walk away from the seemingly closed door of opportunity, don’t just assume that it is locked. Just because the door didn’t open when you pulled it towards you, or upwards or when you walked towards it doesn’t mean it is locked. What if the door you’re facing only opens by pushing it inside? The door to your destiny often requires than you dig in your heels, flex every muscle, lean against it with all your weight and push it open. Remember you don’t need a walkthrough — you need a breakthrough. It is called a breakthrough because some things have to break while you go through. Sometimes you might have to break a few bones while you breakthrough. Therefore breakthrough disparaging voices, limiting circumstances, and obstacles. Breakthroughs require radical faith and radical action. "Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on." No amount of prayer can substitute taking action. If there is no way, make a way.

BE PATIENT WITH GOD

I READ THIS AND LOVED THE LESSON IN IT
TWo weeks ago, I was about to prepare lunch for my family, when I took out a fresh Titus fish from the freezer.
Suddenly my one year five months old daughter who stood by watching, started crying and demanding that I give her the fish to eat. I Kept trying to tell her in my own way that the fish was raw, I needed to spice it up, cook and then take out the bones so it can be ready for consumption, but my toddler wouldn't hear but chose to cry louder and even fell to the ground and no one was able to comfort her.
I decided to ignore her, went ahead to do what was right and when it was ready, she had her fish and didn't even remember all the drama she had put up.
But the Holy Spirit ministered to me that this is how many of us cry for a blessing that is not yet ready. God is saying am spicing it up, cooking it and taking out the bones so you don't get choked.
If only my little daughter knew, she would have waited patiently instead of being anxious. (Phil.4:6) God is saying to someone here that you should be anxious for nothing, Be still and know that I am God I am spicing up that blessing so you will enjoy to the fullest.
Wait on the Lord! (Is.40:31) Like Job said..All the days of my appointed time will I wait till my change comes. (Job 14:14)
Change is coming, Help is on the way

COLLECTION OF MY POST

Today I chose not to listen to the many words being spoken but to listen to only one word from God. God only needs to say a word and it drowns all the noises around. God has my destiny and that of our nation. There will be many words spoken by people, by Satan, by politicians, by your enemies, but when God speaks. the rest becomes noise

I can imagine how the Israelites felt after the red sea opened and they walked through on dry land, just as they were about to cross over, they see the Egyptians, armed to the tooth, after them IN THE RED SEA. They knew God was with them, they could experience the joy of victory but uncertain of what next. But God glorified Himself in a big way.

It's so sweet to trust in Jesus, just to take Him at His word. To depend upon His promise and to know 'thus says the lord'. God says to Kenyans, be still and see my salvation. It shall be well in our nation. I choose to trust in Christ and His promises, not on what anybody else says over this great nation. No statement made by man will take away my peace because I know whom I have believed and I am persuaded beyond any doubt that He's able to keep that which I've committed unto Him.

Even at such a time when way ahead looks bleak for Kenya, our beloved motherland, God still says 'be still and know that I am God'. I don't have to know how He will create a way out, but I KNOW He will.

GOD'S FAITHFULNESS

God is not a man that he should lie, neither a son of man that he should change his mind. Has he not spoken concerning your life and our nation, will he not fulfill? Though he may tarry based on our timing, he'll surely come. God help my heart to take you at your word and wait for your timing. Many are the  times I feel like you are four days late, but I know you are still on time.

THE STORY OF NAAMAN

LESSON FROM NAAMAN HEALING
2King 5:5-25
Naaman was commander of the army of the king of Aram. He was a great man in the sight of his master and highly regarded, because through him the Lord had given victory to Aram. He was a valiant soldier, but he had leprosy. A shameful embarrassing disease. But a maid servant he had taken captive had his solution
If we exalt ourselves so highly, God will humble us in a painful way. Naaman help came from a slave girl. When he went to Israel, he thought the king would help him who sent him to his prophet who never even bothered to come out to meet him but sent a servant. To make it worse, the prophet sent him to river Jordan to wash there. This was the last humiliation that Naaman had to take and he opted to go back were it not for his servant.

- Though God brought him down to the lowest level, he healed him due to his obedience
-Let us not wait till God humbles us to the lowest level, let us live a life of humbleness at all times to all people.
-Despite what we are going through, God might be looking for our obedience so that he can bless us. Don’t give up due to the pain, disappointments and humiliation. The blessing is just around the comer.
-God can send our help through anyone. He used a foreign slave girl for the healing of naaman

When Elisha sent his servant with instructions, this was Naaman’s response;-
11 But Naaman went away angry and said, “I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy. 12 Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Couldn’t I wash in them and be cleansed?” So he turned and went off in a rage.
God’s blessings or answers to our prayers are not always packaged the way we expect and sometimes we might be so full of ourselves to accept God’s blessings when they come to us.

SUMMONET

This was my sermon to myself today
If i am born of God He becomes my father and i His daughter. Because He is the king of king i then become His princess, co heir together with Christ, His son. That sounds beautify. But if God is my father, then i should have similar character traits with Him. I should love and forgive as He does. I should be faithful and truthful in all ways. this reminded me of when Jesus was about to be betrayed, He knew Judas would do it yet He continued to show him love. treating him like the other disciples. Christ was beaten and mistreated though He was innocent yet He still forgave them. Can i be able to continue loving a friend whom am sure is working day and night for my downfall? Can i still forgive someone who tarnishes my name left right and center to achieve a goal?
I have learned God's characteristics don't impact themselves in us, He gives us experiences that will develop them. Gold goes through intense fire to gain value, and so shall we. God will bring people along our path who, as per our judgement, don't deserve to be loved or forgiven so that He can teach us how to love and forgive. And the faster we learn the lesson, the better for us.
But one thing i can confess, knowing Christ is the best thing that happened to me. I am not perfect, I am still work in progress.

OUR JOURNEY IS SHORT

*"Our Journey Together is so Short"*
A young lady sat in a bus. At the next stop a loud and grumpy old lady came and sat by her. She squeezed into the seat and bumped her with her numerous bags.
The person sitting on the other side of the young lady got upset, asked her why she did not speak up and say something.
The young lady responded with a smile:
"It is not necessary to be rude or argue over something so insignificant, the journey together is so short. I get off at the next stop."
This response deserves to be written in golden letters:
*"It is not necessary to argue over something so insignificant, our journey together is so short"*
If each one of us realized that our time here is so short; that to darken it with quarrels, futile arguments, not forgiving others, discontentment and a fault finding attitude would be a waste of time and energy.
Did someone break your heart? *Be calm, the journey is so short.*
Did someone provoke or intimidate you? *Be calm, forgive; the journey is so short.*
Did someone betray, bully, cheat or humiliate you? *Be calm, forgive; the journey is so short.*
Whatever troubles anyone brings us, let us remember that *our journey together is so short.*
No one knows the duration of this journey. No one knows when their stop will come. *Our journey together is so short.*
Let us cherish friends and family. Let us be respectful, kind and forgiving to each other. Let us be filled with gratitude and gladness.
If I have ever hurt you, I ask for your forgiveness. If you have ever hurt me, you already have my forgiveness.
After all, *Our Journey Together is so Short!*

GOD OF A SECOND CHANCE

Today God is saying that He is a God of a second chance. The devil may have passed a verdict on you, but we still have a supreme court that can overrule that verdict where God, who is our father, is the supreme judge.
Mark 5:25-34. The woman with an issue of blood had visited many doctors and had spent so much money with no help. Doctors had given up on her and passed their verdict. Her case was terminal, but God overruled this verdict and gave her live again
John 11:17-44. Lazarus was dead, four days in a tomb and I believe decomposition had already started. People had given up on him and Martha wished Jesus had come earlier. All hope was gone. The verdict had been passed Lazarus was dead and gone, but when Jesus came, he overruled this verdict and gave him another chance to live gain.
John 5:5-9. What about the man at Bethesda. Sick for 38 years and nobody o help him get into the well. All hope of being well again was gone. He was doomed to die in that state. His verdict had been passed. But Jesus came and gave him what his heart so much desired, to be well again.
When a verdict is passed on a convict, he can always place an appeal to a higher court that have the authority to overrule the previous verdict. The convict has to do something, place an appeal. The woman with an issue of blood had to move from her house to where Jesus was despite her condition that required her to stay away. People had to move the stone for Lazarus to come out though Jesus had the power to order the stone to move. The man by the well had to raise and pick his mats. Similarly, you have a part to play for God to change devil’s verdict on your live. For some it could be as easy as just accepting him in their lives while for others it could be a sacrificial move equal to rolling a stone away, while others only need to believe what God says in His word. But the fact is, for God to give you a second chance, for Him to overrule the verdict, you must move from where you are to where He wants you to be. You must accept him in your life, You must have faith in him and you must obey Him by doing what he commands you to do.
Could you be feeling low in the spirit today coz of the situation you are in with many regrets? Wishing if only you had done things differently, if only you had listened to people, if only………….. Do you feel like you have come to your end and the verdict has already been passed on you. Cheer up because God is coming to give you a second chance, a new lease of life. He is overruling that judgment because He loves you. Just trust Him and believe His report. It is well.
